Wal-Kout - 06-09-03
Hello everyone, Jordan D. White here again. This is the first ALL NEW
Perfectly Normal Band song in a long time. I went back to my home town
in Connecticut and, while there, TC and I wrote this little ditty. Now,
for legal reasons, I should probably state that this song is based on
hearsay and rumor, and is, therefor, again for legal reasons, fictional.
That being said, all good works of fiction have, at their heart, a universal
truth that it is up to the audience to discover. You can be the judge. |
Lyrics:
Walk out the entrance door
Shed your blue vest for freedom
Name tags thrown to the floor
Put down Sam's club and beat 'em
Walmart workers unite!
From men's wear to house wares
Spend forty hours there
Long nights
Sell yous soul for low pay
Check out your everyday
Low price
They've got half the jobs in town
Keeping the workers down
No rights
Won't let them unionize
From toys to pet supplies
No dice
Rolling back and slashing prices
Driving out their competition
Well, they're gonna have to think twice, cause
Stopping them will be our mission
Walk out the entrance door
Shed your blue vest for freedom
Name tags thrown to the floor
Put down Sam's club and beat 'em
Walmart workers unite!
Walk out the entrance door
Shed your blue vest for freedom
Name tags thrown to the floor
Put down Sam's club and beat 'em
Walmart workers unite! |
