In the late spring of 2009, I bought myself a banana yellow ukulele on a whim. It just seemed like the right thing to do at the time. As it turns out, it was. I love my ukulele, and rarely does a day pass without me playing something or other on its little nylon strings.

In an effort to bring my uke-love to my podcast, Cast In Wax, I've been rerecording all of the wax-work theme songs originally recorded as part of Rhapsody in Wax. Yes, I am covering my own songs on the ukulele. It's a lot of fun, and it adds a little more original content to the podcast.

For now, I am going to forgo commentary on the individual pieces. Some of them stay fairly similar to the original, while others differ quite a bit. Regardless, I hope you have as much fun listening to them as I had playing them.
